I love that my body lay here all night, energized by my wide awake, and distracted mind, as it feverishly engaged in the day’s political drama playing out on social media, desperate for superficially removed communication, only to become overtaken with torment by my denied desires, drowned down with inescapable grief, instigated by inner dialogue which would not cease nor subside, so that it was not until I cried that I became sleepy and finally found myself comfortable, and still, ready to close my eyes.
